A new trial recently and a new lawyer brought in witnesses that had the same Toyota runaway condition... new court verdict=sentence overturned...he is now a free man! We've got some lame car designs to talk about but this one takes the cake (especially due to the Toyota runaway issues). Car rental agencies are adding fees to your bill (after the fact) if you get a speed or red light camera fine. Of course, there is also a administrative fee tacked on! But who will trust the car rental firms anyway when some are not having the recall work performed on their fleet! hmmmm! Volkswagon recall that could be very important to Passat owners!
